Faculty Member Harold Lilly Joins KMF Staff
Learn valuable skills from songwriter/producer/artist Harold Lilly at the 2005 Kauai Music Festival
Grammy Award-winning songwriter and Songwriter101.com faculty member Harold Lilly has been added to the instructional staff for the upcoming Kauai Music Festival, being held May 26-29 on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.
Other hit songwriters joining the KMF staff are Vanessa Carlton (“A Thousand Miles”) and Sean Garrett (“Yeah!” by Usher), as well as previously announced instructors including country songwriter Jeffrey Steele (“These Days”), pop tunesmith Kara Dioguardi (“Pieces of Me” by Ashlee Simpson), Grammy Award-winning producer and faculty member Russ Titelman (Bee Gees, Eric Clapton) and Performing Songwriter editor/publisher and faculty member Lydia Hutchinson.
Sponsored by Songwriter101 partner BMI, the Kauai Music Festival is a four-day celebration of the craft of popular songwriting. The Festival, tempered throughout with Kauai’s “Aloha Spirit,” provides an opportunity for aspiring songwriters to hone their craft under the tutelage of some of the best songwriters in the world. The KMF offers a unique combination of small group songwriter workshops, master classes, instructional panels and seminars on a variety of pertinent subjects, a songwriting contest, and concerts.

I look up to songwriters like Harold and Sean. Hopefully you all can do an event like that somewhere near the New York City so we can have a chance to participate.
