The Short answer is that I’ve been singing since birth and have a passion for sharing my heart through song.

Being an example to the youth and sharing messages about faith and hope matter very much, too. I also use my talents often to support charities that I believe in like Hope World Wide or Compassion International.

I play out often either with my original songs which fall somewhere in the cracks between Christian pop, folk, jazz and country- or regularly in the praise band at my church.  You might also catch me on cover gigs playing jazz and SCATTING my heart out or doing a general mix of styles for a wedding or restaurant:)

I also teach both voice and guitar to adults and children. I love my studio and get great personal reward from seeing my students grow as performers and musicians. Along the way I have conducted many groups and choirs of adults and children through schools, churches and my private studio.

I grew up in Ithaca, NY and went to Oberlin College and finally graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. I have three CD’s out- Most recently my solo artist CD: Grace With Jazz On Top in 2008, before that I co-produced (and co- wrote all the songs) on The Force, with the band PTB in 2006 and was music director and co-producer on “Faith in Action Live” with the 10 voice women’s a cappella group: Faith in Action, also in 2006.

I am happily married to Ralph Kinscheck and have two beautiful twins!
