| Bio | Well, I am from Jacksonville, Florida and I picked up a felony on my record a month or two before I was to walk for my high school diploma. I fought in school and went to jail. Every since then, life has been so hard, and I’ve been homeless so many times in Jacksonville, and Atlanta. I could never understand how am I to take care of my kids without a job. I said I’d never sell drugs to take care of my kids, or myself. So I had to become an entrepreneur by force, cause I refused to roll over and to be another sorry black man looking for a way out. Every business I started fail, and it took me five years to start my first business. After my baby mother gave up on me, and left me that’s when I left Jacksonville, Florida to look for a career nationwide. Before I left Jacksonville I was homeless, and the only way I could eat at night is by singing for money. Singing for people was fun to me, so even though I sung because I was in a crisis, I really had fun. At that moment is when I wanted to take singing to the next level , so I left Florida and ended up in Atlanta, G.A. and I thought I was ready for the spotlight. I’m a very cocky person, I remember my first show my manager got me at, “Apache Cafe’” in Mid-Town, near downtown Atlanta. These artist was on a totally different level then I was, but of course I got on stage. I gave it a try with a live band, and I was horrible, and from that moment on I was a student. That was three years ago I learned how to perform, and met Famous Artist in the industry and asked them so many questions to push myself to the next level. I started taking vocal training, learning how to put on a show, and I even learned how to write music. All of the pain I encountered in my life is felt through my music, and all the lessons I’ve learned is going to be felt through my music. I cannot wait to perform in front of millions, cause at gas stations, grocery stores, malls all across the Eastcoast I’ve sung to hundreds of people personally for a dollar or two, and I ensured them they would see me on Television sooner then later. I meant that, and I’m always looking to learn more to put my singing career at an advantage point for myself. I owe my kids so much cause I’ve never really have been able to do for them, but I’m going to sing my heart out for my wife, and kids…. Get Ready For “Rodric King Music.” |
