Hi Fran .. you have some good sutff here.. Its a shame that your hook is only used at the end…

I love the content of the song.. I would like to see it more structured throughout..

This one part is odd to me

Then I heard the angels voice
that seem to say.. (the voice seems to say?)
Jesus is your saviour
Pray oh sinner pray..

Keep working it .. I do like what you are trying to say

That about says it all Fran.. I think I will have to hear the last verse.. I certainly respect what you are saying .. but I just cant seem to sing that last verse.. So go ahead and get it done .. I want to hear it..

Praise God Fran.. and I am so thankful that the folks here on 101 are receptive to christian lyrics and music.. a lot of other forums are not

So praise God for this venue…

Hello Tom,

Thanks for the comments. The last verse should be sung by the person
who is feeling the need to pray. Then with excitement and passion,
the church congregation joins in to sing praises and etc..

Hi Fran,

I like it. I think you should post the finished version. When you get a min., read my post, “This Isn’t A Goodbye”. I think you’ll like it. Good luck with this one.

Have a goodun,

John

nice tune Fran :)

I like what you have but I’d like to make a suggestion
or 2 :)

Tom is right about the hook I have an idea on how to get
to the hook faster and more times.

In your story line, start with a child’s birthday party
and use the hook, then have a birthday party for you
and then come home to have a second party in the same day
for birthday #2 then after your encounter with God use the
hook again for your religious birthday #2. That’s how
I would incorporate the hook multiple times in the song.
But it is your song so keep or sweep as it is just my
2-cents :)

Song Blueprint:

verseI
talk about childs birthday

chorus
hook with birthday #2

verse II
your second birthday party
in the same day

chorus
hook with birthday #2

bridge
have an encounter with God

chorus
hook with birthday #2

tag out repeats the hook :)

now all you do is write the lyrics to fit
around the events taking place ;)
Good Luck

very busy man, I don’t see how you can do so much!!! I will try to
work on the song…....

Hi Jeff,

I am sure you are a (Bust man), this is a California word for men
who have very broad shoulders, and also for statues of famous
people, like my great, great Grandpa.. Jeff, if you would like to
use this song, with your own version, please feel free!, I’m sure
it would be wonderful..

Best regards,
Fran Williams

Frances: I didn’t re-write the song, there is nothing for me to give.
Only thing I did was give a blueprint of how I thought the storyline
should go. There were no lyrics in that blueprint. So the song is
still yours as far as I’m concerned. I didn’t want the song, I was
just trying to help you with the storyline. By all means, you take
it and run if you want :)

Hi Folks,
I wanted to bring this lyric forward for my beloved parents. This is a special
song and was instrumental in my father joining church. He gave up some bad
demons in life. I had the gift of having wonderful parents. I love them so much!

Any comments and advice would be greatly appreciated. I also realize so
many folks have their own beliefs, and this is the way it should be. I am
a person who respects all religions..Amen!!

Blessings,
Fran Williams
