James. ..There were’‘blatant ill spirited’‘references..To What this lady has said..which is a lack of
a better word for her,,I have many choice words I could call her,,:)...but for the sake
of the song I will not do so…’‘The lady’s body language ‘‘dictated to me..’‘That she
had a lil resentment [implied]...The signifying of the rollin of the eyes..The chant’‘Immigrant’‘
which has underlying racial overtones,,James which suggest to me’‘that you don;t
like my kind of people ‘‘which happens to be an immigrant…

*** I did have a prob with the lines
that ‘‘stated she sat next to her
not once but twice..
Usually if someone is coming
from a place’’ that despises
you ‘‘they would avoid sitting
next to you..’‘human nature
dictates that,,,,,but it depends..
Maybe the lady wanting to get
a rise’‘out of the young lady
who bowed her head,,,Etc…
[she was baiting her]
prob to set her up..
to get her hauled
off ‘‘by the police..
too many variables
comes into play
with this Piece..

***** This is just my take on
this Piece.:)

SEE you in a few;o
xxoo

JD, if you were listening to news on sky during the reccession you will understand what this is all about.it has got nothing to do with race. Now british people were openly angry with immigrants ,migrants or what ever you call it ,cos they thought immigrants were taking up their jobs.So no fighting ,no fighting about the immigrant. i love that its getting all these mixed reaction and thtas the essence of it all.Cool.
thanks guys for your appreciating it.
cheers

“Well I think it was meant derogatory”

Tom

People can choose to be offended by whatever the wish. Whether it was derogatory or not is still a question unanswered by this song lyric. If I was an illegal imigrant and someone called me “imigrant,” I would not choose to take offense to the point of fact; I would consider it a step above what I actually was—an ILLEGAL imigrant.
