Top of the morning, Faustina - I hope that all is well over there.  Thank you so much for checking out this lyric and for sharing your thoughts in the way that you did…I really do appreciate both.  Your kind words have touched a deep chord within my heart and they will be remembered - I count it a blessing to share the site with you.  Take care and have a good week and a great day over there on your side of the screen.

Top of the morning, Shari - wow, that’s an incredible story.  Where would we be without the angels in our lives?  They come in all shapes and sizes, with a variety of faces, and when we least expect it.  What a great man Harlan Howard was - so willing to share and to become involved on such a personal level.  Whenever somebody touches your life like that, they create a favor that you can never really properly pay back - nor are you supposed to…you simply have to “pay it forward.”  I’m very glad that you shared that experience with me, Shari - it certainly has great application here as well as in many other ways.  And I don’t know about you, but it sure does sound like the good basis for a song or two…  Hang tight and have a great day over there.

Hi Ray
Very touching.
Its ironic that music therapy is recognized as a wonderful way for patients with all types pf problems to bring their energy into a “peaceful place” as they deal with their illnesses.
As you write and share the process with your son, you are healing him as surely as his docs and nurses.
Pretty cool, I’d say.
Good Job

Top of the morning, Steven - I really appreciate you taking the time to check this one out, appreciate you taking the time to comment, too.  I do enjoy the bond that I have with my kids - the way that they come to me and the ways that we get to spend time together, be-it together in person or simply talking/texting on the phone, has always been one of the highlights of my days…my middle son’s pretty incredible in the way that he sees and does things, all my kids are to me though :-)  And I couldn’t agree with what you said more - that’s an excellent observation and I do hope that things play out that way in this case.  Hang tight and enjoy the day over there.

Hey Glenn, you get the award for the best site picture since SW101 turned this new leaf of theirs lol I’d actually seen that pic before but it had been a while…I’m glad that somebody thought to use it in their profile :-)  Thanks man, I do appreciate the thoughts - more than you know.  You know how much family Theresa and I consider you and Charlotte.  My son’ll do well…he’s got to much family pulling for him for it to be any other way.  I’ve really had you on my mind these past weeks…been meaning to give you a call.  I’ve still got that project I was talking about a few weeks back on my mind.  We’re headed to Kentucky next week to visit with my folks - they’re getting kind of antsy to see and hold Johnny Ray :-)  I might give you a call as we pass through Tennessee…if not sooner.

Thank you Ray. You have a great day over there too…Yes Harlen was a great man.Sooo many hit songs he had.I am blessed to have met him.I do believe in Angels too.I like what you said about that. And that too would make a great idea for a song.
How is your precious son doing???
I send my prayers and my angels.
God bless your life and bless your sweet family,

I’d like to thank everybody who commented in this strand again - especially for the supportive thoughts and well wishes.  I wanted to provide a bit of an update - My son had his surgery 2 weeks ago this coming Friday.  They had to do 3 times as much work on one of his legs as they’d anticipated, but the procedures were still successful.  He’ll be able to start getting up out of bed and begin therapy in another week or so.  His spirit’s are high and he’s determined to carry on in true form.  And, just this evening, I’ve also heard the very first rough draft on the song being produced around this lyric…and it sure does sound good.  Hang tight, everybody - enjoy the evening and have a great week.
