Jim, it’s pretty good. I like the humorous side of this.. Some comments below..

I think I would say pretty face or eyes. Head sounds odd to me

You switched up your rhyme scheme. Verse one abab verse two aabb. I did not think deer traveled like that.. Anytime I see them it is one or two at the most.

Funny dude, funny!! I do agree with Tom though…I think that you should change “head” to “eyes”, especially since you keep referring to her going blind…lol…that would be ironically funny!! Good job!!
