as an independent artist how do u split digital sales that are only 99 cents with producer?

How do I split independent digital sales wit producer when i am doing all the work and printing all the cd.

You should have a written contract with that producer and have it signed to both of you. Then in that legal document, it shows how those sales are being splitted according to what has been agreed.

So for example if in that agreement, there is a clause for example:
“The artist and producer agrees to split the digital sales 80% for the artists and 20% for the producer”
So you get = 80% x 99 cents
While your producer can get 20% x 99 cents.
Put things like this in writing, it is hard to split digital sales or profits without any written agreement.
