There should be a forum for feedback on songs

.. as opposed to “lyrics only”. Might be called “MP3 feedback forum” or so.

See the post:
http://www.songwriter101.com/forums/viewthread/83098/

No need to provide for uploading audio files, there are enough options on the web already. An additional forum would help to choose where to post and get feedback on completed songs, e.g. present successful collaborative efforts etc.

Yes, please!

It is good to have a place to discuss lyrics, but it would be wonderful to have a seperate forum, to discuss the finnished songs. this place is called SONGWRITER (songwriting means words and music)

Maybe on Holiday? :( ... No, I know they are very busy.

Anyway, Songwriter means: Music and Lyrics. And - as we said in another post - this place should serve both aspects or renamed into lyricswriter101.com…

Members are always free to post links to their MP3 files or where ever their songs are hosted, and feedback can be posted on threads like that.

Hello Moderator 8,

we all know that - but there is no discussion forum. So people who actually want to have their songs reviewed start their threads in the “lounge”, or in the “lyrics library”, or under “collaborate” - simply because there actually is no forum to discuss songs, notwithstanding where the mp3 files are posted.

Bernd and others.

We are going to do this.  Would you like to suggest a list of sites where song files might be hosted?

:-)

@Peter:

Thank you :)!!

I´d say the two best sites are soundclick and soundcloud -
http://www.soundclick.com
http://www.soundcloud.com

On both you can create a free account and can upload music to their server.

I think it´s enough when you just give us a new forum called “Mp3 Feedback Forum” (just like the lyrics library), where we can open our threads and wait for feedback. That´s it.

@Bernd: Could you please repeat what I wrote here, but in an English that everyone understands, like you did before? :)

They took your suggestion. See the new Tune Topics Forum.

There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? http://www.garyeandrews.com

Yeah, they took it… but I think no one´s gonna see it down there. The “Tune Topics” Forum should be located near the “Lyrics Library” :(

I AGREE…  we def need a forum that is feedback forum for demos…I network on so many other websites and 99% of them have the Lyrics Library for just lyrics to be critiqued and then a Podcast Feedback Forum for demo’s to be critiqued and they have the Collabration forum but broken down by ... In need of Lyrics, In need of Beat, In need of vocals, In need of producer& arranger….. this way everything stays where it should be….. We have the collab forum ( not seperated with threads like others but we got it) We have the lyrics library (mixed with demo posts)

Seperating them would be ideal… and such a great ideas bc what if someone is coming on here looking for specific.. they dont wanna scroll through hundreds to get to one… they might get turned away and by by goes the opportunity… just saying its a great idea,,,
