Thanks

@darlene: It says:

“Get and give feedback on demos and work tapes”

this should answer the question :). You can show finnished songs and demos. What do you mean with “only play music”....?

@Darlene:

If you are a lyricist and someone has put music on it and recorded it,
you can show what it is here.

Show us your songs!

Have fun!

@Darlene:

A “Tune” is nothing more than a Song. Do you know what a song is? A Song is what you hear in the radio or on CDs, music and lyrics.

You can post your lyrics in the Lyrics Lybrary. When you co-wrote a Song then you can introduce this Song in the “Tune-Section”.

You can listen to the examples here :)

Glad to see this new forum taking off.

As far as song vs tune.  Don’t read too much into it.  I was thinking “well if there is no singing is it a song”?  What if someone wants to post a jazz or classical composition that has no singing and never will…

To Gary Parr and ZRA I suggest you start a new topic for each of the songs that you want feedback on.

If all you are looking for is general affirmation then linking to your entire body of work is fine.  But we’ve got some very talented folks here who are kind and supportive when giving constructive criticism.

You have taken the time to write and record a song.  If you expect members to take the time to review your work, you should take just a little bit more time to make it easy for them.

:-)
