Does anybody know any website which helps bands in promoting? Recently I’ve come across one website called artistecard.com. Is there anyone who uses their services?  Can it help me with promotion? Maybe someone knows other similar websites.

Hello,

The website link that you put up looks very well laid out and profession. The only sites I am aware of that offer alternatives close to that are things like Bandzoogle.com, Bandvista.com,  and a paid Reverbnation.com subscription.

The thing is, they are just places to host your webpage and content, and the promotional tools were designed as an afterthought that can be added on. The site you’ve got there seems way more suited towards promotion, and quite honestly, seems legit. Did you check them out? Do they have competitors? Try googling “artistcard.com vs” and see what Google’s autocomplete suggests.

Promoting a band is something that has to be consistent for it to be effective.

With that said, in addition to seeking out websites to promote your band, you also have to be your biggest promoter.

Self-promotion includes taking the time out to engage with fans on social media, building a website where you can share your music and special offers with your fans, and learning how to send professional emails to music industry professionals.

It might take time to build your audience but once you keep at it, the results will eventually start coming in as long as you also keep creating high quality music.

Personally, I can’t say I’ve known anyone who has used artistecard.com to promote their band, so I can’t comment on that. However, I do hope what I’ve stated above will be of some use to you.

Best of luck.
