This is a new track I am working on. I feel like it came out pretty well I’m just worried about the mix a little. I think the bass needs to come up and possibly the vocals a little. Every time I listen to it the mix sounds different so I can’t tell what needs to be worked out.

Hey Thom, I think you’re right. You need to bring your voice a bit forward in the mix. You’re drowned out by the guitar. Probably right about the bass too. That would probably give it a more satisfying depth.

Cool voice -  fits the music well. Not that I understood a single word - well right now I’m making out “don’t worry ‘bout me - ? I’ll be alright”...

Turn the guitar track low, and start from there. It’s punk alright, but its harshness and volume kill everything else.

Have fun,
Bernd

Thanks for the feedback. Definitely what I was thinking with the mix. I’ve been testing out a new mixer/interface and I am still trying to get used to it.

Cool Mellencamp feel to this one. I do like your voice, it fits very well. I agree with everyone else about the mix. More bass would do wonders.

But you’ve definitely got something here!
