A nice little trip :)

I just recently visited with my folks in Scottsboro, Al. They’re both in
their early 70s and I don’t get to see them much, but it’s always like
stepping back in time when I do :)

Here’s my Mom on piano :)

Built my Dad a little practice station while I was there, I thought this
turned out pretty neat…...

How cool is that! Thanks for sharing it Tony. Feel like I know you a little better. I want to say your Mum kicks a*s, but it just doesn’t seem respectful to say that. Very awesome.  ;)

HA! That’s alright, she does kick A$$! I should have thought to get a video of my Dad jammin’,
but he was in that back room while we were in the kitchen cooking! :)

Wow, I’m thoroughly impressed by your mom. I hope to play that well one day and still be able to when I get to that age. It’s evident that music runs in the family. :)

Thanks Susie! Yea, I’m fairly proud of them myself :) and music is definitely something
the whole family has in common. I wish I could get to see my little brother more often.
He’s a better drummer than me but he’s in DC…..... When are YOU going to post something?
I’ve been looking forward to some of that “island” sound! :)

You’re most welcome Tony. I sometimes wish there were more musicians in my family, but I’m making friends in the business all the time and being here, I think will be a plus. About your question, I’m working on a few songs now so I’ll be posting something soon enough. However, not all my songs are reggae/dancehall (dominant genres in Jamaica) because I want my music to be diverse.

@ Susie… ” I want my music to be diverse.” Whole heartedly agree! Why limit yourself? :)

@ Mora… “and this today so present”... What a very cool phrase! Thanks Mora :)

Can’t believe I missed this when you first posted it. You need to collab with your Mom, Tony.
