Thanks Gavin, I too didn’t fully understand all the details in the original article (blame it on being young in music I guess). Overall, it’s great news, the current laws aren’t very encouraging. But I read the other day that there is a Music Modernization Act that is being pushed to be passed this year which should address some of the issues surrounding streaming and low royalty payouts.
